The Petal Sonnet Triangular Shawl
Pattern by Hazel Carter Skill Level: Advanced Intermediate
Gauge: 6.5 sts = 1 inch after blocking
This design was inspired by Tennyson's sonnet "Now sleeps the crimson petal" and each motif represents a portion of the poem as explained in the story line that is part of the pattern. Worked in our lace singles, Thistledown, it is a light and airy shawl approximately 48 inches on the shorter sides and 62 inches across. The kit is available in cream only.
