The Fiesta Vest

Skill Level: Advanced Intermediate
Gauge: 9 sts = 1 inch over the Flying Swallows stitch
This vest is worked in the round using fingering weight yarn in a solid color (cream) and hand painted yarn in the color Tropical Fish for contrast. Steeks are used for the front and armhole openings. There are many excellent finishing techniques used in this project, including the Magic Buttonhole.

The pattern includes sizes for chest measurements 36" (40", 44", 48"). The vest takes 3(3, 4, 4) skeins (4 oz) of cream and 3(3, 4, 4) skeins (2 oz) of contrast.
