The Barber Pole Cowl/Hat

Gauge: 16 sts = 4 inch

Size: Approximately 7.5" deep and 18" around. Gives flexibly.

This small cowl or hat uses a medium weight yarn, and is a modification of the Spiral Cowl Pattern which is done in Bulky Weight. Medium weight yarns can be found here. It is worked flat and then after the edges are joined to form a cowl. If a hat is desired stitches are picked up along the upper edge to form the top.
